Welcome to the club! I never left film, merely added digital to the mix. The only advice I will give are these two: edit in the finder, so work the image before you press the button ( depends on the genre of course: street, sport, wildlife and performing arts you just shoot). The second applies to negative film: expose for the shadows, print for the highlights. Underexposure hurts you on negatives, the opposite of digital. I also downrate the film, about 1/3 stop or so for Fuji and a full stop ( half the box ISO) for Kodak. Gives you better negatives. Happy shooting!
