Dunno if you're still picking things up from this thread Mark, but I'd just like to say it's so freshing to here a comedian who doesn't shout their whole act, rely on slagging people off in the audience and has a pleasant manner....hope you come to Wales soon and do the smaller venues 👍🏽 *....oh and I should add 'is hilarious'

You should swap the punchline round? “I was having trouble with my vision. Had an appointment and they managed to solve it. Only problem now is, I keep solving crime. I think it might be because I went to a private eye clinic…?” Or something like that anyway. 😅 I quite like that you workshop the joke, think that works as well. 👍🏻

Hate to be that guy but... instead of 'the private hospital ' try 'A private eye hospital' and swap 'treat' to 'see' (but the audience seem to like what you can do with it so maybe keep it exactly as is.)

My grandmother had Alzheimer’s and would spend the whole afternoon counting cars in the parking lot. I still don’t know if it’s the happiest or saddest thing I’ve ever seen.
