Thank you so much for making this video short and to the point. So many of the guys that offer these instsructional videos have about a 10 minute video with about 2 m inutes worth of tips. Your video is 2.37 and almost all tips so you've cut thru the crap. Thanks for an excellent instructional video and for the great tip! I've checked your KZbin channel and have subscribed as I see most of your videos are short and to the point like this one Look forward to seeing more videos!

Is it okay to interlock the fingers
@OwenDawson2 ай бұрын
Grip doesn’t change much in chipping and pitching. If you interlock with your normal grip you would keep it consistent with chip and pitch

Good tip. Next time showing exactly what ur talking about would provide a good visual that many amateurs need

i use my 5 hybrid for bump and run all the time ... lowered my score considerably ... accurate and easy .. just practice distance control and you will be fine !

I couldn’t find anything to create level shoulders. Every time I chipped with a mirror to check shoulder tilt I felt level but was always right shoulder low. Brilliant!! Thanks a heap

I can chip one-handed. I just can't chip 2 handed.

Great tip! Just did a video on my channel about chipping but this grip tweak would really help on the shorter chips!

Good tip Owen. We have a great pitching area at the Club to practice this type of shot.

Thank you! I've struggled with my chipping in the last year. I believe it was from these two things, especially keeping the face closed. I tried to keep it from staying closed and voila! My chip shots are actually getting a little air with far fewer chunks. Simple but great lesson

Where did you get a map of the hole to use to teach the kids about fairways greens hazards?

Wow... best training aid I've ever seen. This works! Put a 2x4 down in your back yard and address it with every club in your bag... then swing gently back to it and pay very close attention to what your club head looks like at impact. If you're an amateur it will be slightly open. Now apply the correct pressure to your hands/wrists/thumb (you decide) to get that club back to square. Now use that same pressure during a real swing. Spend time with this. A few minutes a day for a week should do it. Fantastic!

Thanks for sharing this. It was an honor to meet Vince last year, my first year at NAOAGA, and see him take the championship match to 18 with a late charge on eventual champion Jesse Florkowski. Our motto is "Never Quit!"

I have a very hard time imagining the correct position of the clubface. for me it seems to be square all the time. will try this right away!
