Another good video watch on this boat I use the PVC hockey tape to seal the lid and I ran it across the front end to protect the front if I hit anything at the same time I covered the front vent holes for self-right and it seemed to help the boat self write you want the water to stay in to weight the boat down,the more holes the water seems to run out as fast as it comes in... I love those Dumbo transmitters I have the 10 channel for my cars then I found the six channel that you have works great for my boats get the X6FP receiver and you will get return voltage on the battery with those, I thought you could only have that with the 10 channel to get that and then I found the X6FP... I run my little boats at night at my park when it's been hot here in S, California I put LED lights on them ,6 volt ones you plug in the lights to the 2 prong LED on the receiver and the channel 3 of the remote will turn them on and off... My friends and I stopped racing our short course trucks on Wednesdays to hot,so we decided to get back into boats.... So far it's been a lot of fun learning new stuff my last boats were from the 80s 90s a wild cat and phantom but the nicad batteries were a pain in the ass stopped playing with boats and cars now brushless motors and lipo batts make everything way better.. thanks for the new videos on the Cobra and the an WL915, Arrow is a great boat.. been running it for 3 weeks broke the stock flex shaft.. time to upgraded put in a surpass hobbies 3660 2600kv an 90amp fly color esc, upgrade flex shaft,made my own motor mount to the stock plastic mounts to save money that motor and ESC works great ran in the 90° on 3s had crazy power.. broke four of my cheap plastic props 40,43,45mm ran in hi 40mph thought I would put in my good metal prop 47 mm 1.9p for my big boats the motor rip my flex shaft loose, lost it and my most expensive prop in the lake and broke all my plastic motor mounts😢 so right now cutting all the plastic mounts everything out prepping got a new real motor mount with back holding ring for motor .. then hopefully I can go to 4 and then 6s with this speed control an get in the 60 mi an hour club. These boats get you possessed on making them better.... Full triggerrrrrr

Thanks for more videos on this boat, I love this boat.. remember this boat is a racing boat made to go right turn fin on right and boats with rudders on the right turn best going right this boat has great hardware I was looking to buy the oxidean mini dom but could not afford $400 then I found videos on this boat, I think this boat Handel's better and has better hardware for a third the price.. in the video it looks like your boats to dry in the water remember the motor mount is adjustable you're adjust the motor mount up and down the drive shaft goes down pushes the boat down in the water more, I have mine motor adjusted 2 mm up rides just wet enough and cut the water a little more handles really good,try adjusting the motor mount to get better ride and cuts through the water better doesn't want to flip over as easy try to keep everything left batt. Esc, receiver,for self-righting, so far mine self rights about 90% of the time. Take off the bottom screw on the rudder so it can turn up when you hit something like sticks and turtles.. grind off the top corner of the turn fin so it doesn't cut into the boat if you hit something like I did I knew I should have ground that off before I ran it I like the turn fin closest to the boat seems to handle better and it crack my aluminum mount when I hit a turtle or a stick..??... And I just saw your battery in the video is too fat you got to get the skinny 2200 mha it won't selfright with a battery like that... Remember full trigger full triggerrrrrr

PS.. the prop twist left which boat counters twisting right so you keep the battery left all the way left and driving right centrifugal force by going right forces everything left countering torque roll to the right... Turning left with smaller props turns over easier you don't have a lot of twisting torque.. and the centrifugal force goes left with a twisting of the prop turn the boat over.. that's why you build twin motors with props going opposite direction counters everything and it goes straight... But that's a lot more money to put together...😢

Thanks for great video on things you should not do I just got this boat a week ago could not afford a big F1 so I went with this WLF1 so far love the boat.. mine out of the box 17 mh then put a 35 mm plastic prop got 24 mh then put a 38 mm prop got 27 mph so far,38 prop that will twist the boat over you must start slow all the way to top speed. remember the prop Drives ccw so the boat wants a twist to the left so you counter that by always driving to the right circling and keep battery on left to counter the torque roll when you start propping up you run into torque roll problems I'm running SMC 2200 HP flight packs the lighter than most 2200mah packs and smaller.. you must set up the boat sand all the gloss off the bottom boat sharpen the rudder and the strut smooth everything out.Grease the flex tube every time you run it and pop the bearings off the flex tube soak them in oil. The bearings are 4/7/ 2.5 mm you can find them on AliExpress I get all my boat parts from that site way cheaper and you can get all the parts for this boat there.. I just got back into boats a month ago first got the Velles 29 Sonic wake 36.. then I started little boats love little boats the DL Arrow,DTRcM450 Cobra great boat..WlF1.. after setting up the hull, it runs full speed in the corners flat out smooth I filled in the self-righting hole in hull with foam it doesn't self right with bigger battery.. it doesn't tip over as long as I don't run it to the left hard.. 99% always going right.. hope that helps someone out there it's a fun boat for the money love how f1s glide on the water... The M450 is a great little boat for the money, Mr Mad got 38.8mph stock. On an upgraded 3614 prop he got 40.6mph, I wasn't aware he got 42mph. Maybe I missed that run of 42mph. You may have hit a bit more, that speed meter you have in the boat is quite heavy for a tiny boat like the M450.
