I know this was from 3 years ago, but do you mind doing on on Kabuki theatres at all? They're my favorite type and a general idea on how they would preform would be awesome!

Fantastic video! You clearly are very knowledgeable about theatre. Funny enough, I was looking up theatre layouts because I am building a theatre in minecraft XD

I also want to make a theatre. I want to mix the different types into one so it has many functions to easily change scenes without having to pause to rebuild a scene

I wish this video explained why certain places are better for entrances, exits, romance, violence, etc.

We tend to use the logic that modern languages (English and others) read from left to right. The idea is the audience will most likely focus stage-right (audience's left). The sneaky entrances are to the audience's right (SL) where they are less likely to focus. Satire/Farce rely heavily on making grand entrances so having they tend to use center and stage right areas as those are the stronger areas of the stage.

I love this and appreciate all the work you did. Thank you! As a theater professor with all online classes this semester it is helpful to have more options to send my students to watch. This is a fun way to explain theater types.

Thanks so much!! We are so glad we can offer some help during this time. We’re excited to get back to in person theatre ourselves, even though Minecraft is still quite fun.
