Hi there. Is the beach low tide like this all of July? I'll be traveling in the first week of July and staying on the northern end of Chaweng beach. Worried it will only be sand bars up there!

Wow. That is SUPER quiet for chaweng for this time of year. I remember before the pandemic you couldn't even walk down that street over new years. It was literally shoulder to shoulder.

So fantastic to see so many tourists on Chaweng Beach compared to 3 months ago. Its just what the Kingdom and thai people need to get their shops and businesses back to full strength. Keep up the excellent videos 👍 👍 as these promote the island for more tourism

Sorry but you are lying - you post a video of an empty beach, devoid of tourists when we all have eyes then post "Today I walked along Chaweng Beach and saw the whole beach full of tourists". How can you possibly say that? It's teh kind of thing i'd expect from the Chinese government!. Cleary what you have posted here is NOT a "whole beach full of tourists" so why the lies?

@@sot.justwalk Don't lie and we cant stop saying and thinking it. I'm not here to please you, and your reaction to being held to account is entirely up to you. if you say a WHOLE beach if FULL and then post a video showing an empty beach (consistent with all other sources reporting that samui is very quiet) then you need to expect the consequences of being called out for not speaking the truth i.e to lie.

You can expect that from Donald Trump too . But I dont think he means litteraly , its a comparisson from how its been last 2,5 years back . I totaly understand what he means , I was there 6 month ago . Its not a Lie ! Its how he experienced it after a pandemic I guess .

@@mattiassjoborg So your understanding is based on not what he said but what you "think" he means rather than what he said. That can be pretty dangerous ground. Is that a whole beach full of people? - I'm tell you answer is no. If he stated "the beach looked a little more busy than it did 6 months ago" there would be no issue. What he said is factually incorrect, misleading to the public who might be making a decision to invest a lot of hard saved family money on a trip to somewhere that's being promoted as being something it is not and I've flagging that very clear point. You make an assumption that you understand what he means.. you also end by saying "i guess". I'm saying it's not a whole beach full of people and any idiot can clearly see i'm correct in that assertion, no guesswork or leaps of faith required.

I'll look for a new update for July 2022. However I have to be honest and say Chaweng looks in a very sad state, it actually looks as though it has been bombed. I 1st visited Samui back in 2008 and visited every year until 2012. It is a pale imitation of what i remember. The travel cost and hassles of getting there ontop of this kind of footage sadly tells me it will be several years before i will feel like going back again. Hope the recovery continues, but let's not kid ourselves it is anything other than a slow walk back.

Nice video, can you maybe make an updated chaweng beach road video ? The last one is from may, we are going to chaweng cove resort in three weeks, and Im interested about how is the area 2,5 months later. Last video no 7/11 and family mart was open, and only some restaurant near the Hotel. Thanks and greetings from Germany 🙏
