It's called the gratuity fee, which is per person per day. For example, if you have 5 ppl in your family. That's $100 per day for however many days you booked for. Gratuity goes towards tips, but you can ask for not to be charged on your card but instead, you can tip cash as you go.

Depends when you go. I booked mine as a package with air thru costco. Honestly, I'm not sure how much hotel cost per night. Maybe around $300 a night. I find it cheaper as a package.
