@@designsbykent I was thinking of food items you can get at Walmart that are quick and easy. Maybe like Ramen with tuna or something like that.
@designsbykent4 ай бұрын
@@sabotman5894 Yes. Big fan of Walmart myself. It's a safe place to go for a walk when taking a break from driving. It's also a great place to pick up a meal without spend much money. One of my favorites is beef fajitas. I get the pre-cooked and pre-seasoned fajita meat (beef or chicken) usually for around $3, add a half slice of cheddar cheese, then put it on a keto friendly flour tortilla and heat it up. Quick and easy. Walmart is also offering several different sample size hot sauces for $1-2 each which rounds off the meal. I'll make a video of something like that. Oh, and pot pies are a good meal as well. I've cooked those in my electric skillet, but next time I'll try my little toaster oven. I think that will work better.

There's a app that I use on my phone called amper. And it tells me how much power is coming into my phone. I like this app because I will try different configurations like one power block. In this cable, a different power block in that cable, try to figure out which block and cable. Get the most power, for example. My Samsung phone, sometimes it will say fast charging. Sometimes you will say faster charging. Sometimes you will say Super Fast Charging on the screen. So I started thinking what makes us Super Fast Charging? Turned out wires can make a huge difference like you. Mentioned. So that app will tell you how many milliamps are coming into your phone every minute

Sorry. I drilled no holes to mount the panels, but I did put in a hole for the wires. It is under the little black box at the front. It is designed specifically for this purpose. So far no leaks, and I've had the panels installed for a couple of years.

One time I had an apple product. And I bought a USB charger from the flea market to charge up that apple product. When the next update came out, it didn't work. Seems like apple has an actual chip inside of their charger. And it will detect after market charger. And not use it. I wonder if that was the case that you were running into now. I know it wasn't an apple product, but other companies do it as well
@designsbykent7 ай бұрын
I'm learning that USB cables are advancing in capacity. Old cable may not be able to carry as much power. I'm pretty sure this is what I sometimes encounter with charging issues. My phone can charge with an old cable, but it takes a long time. My laptop however has to have a newer cable or it won't even try to charge. Also, coming straight off my truck battery won't charge it either.

Thoughtful input ; thank you. I am considering putting one of these diesel heaters in my Toyota pick up for additional heating here In Alaska Winters & I am wondering what’s your opinion is on the Chinese diesel heaters longevity. The German made ones are so very much more expensive… But I could be in a very bad position if a Chinese made one fails midwinter on me , as replacements In Alaska are hard to come by.

I have one attached to my house. I use it to knock the chill off on cold mornings. I recently melted a fuel line and when I fixed it I got a bubble in the line and when the fuel got past the bubble it screwed things up. My option was to repair or replace. I found I could replace for only a bit more than I could repair, so replace is what I did. My fault for melting the fuel line. Otherwise I was going into my second year of usage. I would say since you want to depend upon the heater you just order an extra. They are so cheap it seems the way to go to me. Kent

Thanks. One of the key features of this build that I don't think most people talk about is the width of the isle-way between the bunk and the counter/shelf. Gotta make sure you have enough room to get down on your knees and be able to turn around without getting you lower legs stuck. It's a real thing... Try turning around with the space is just barely wide enough and get jammed up. No fun at all. This build corrects that. I spend at least a couple of nights a month on the road so sleep in my truck, and during the fall I spent an entire month living in it. This build works. Thanks for watching. Kent

You don’t need pressure cooker for a Bear Creek soup unless you’re adding fresh chicken. You’re not saving fuel either since you have to have on high until it comes to pressure, you’d be better off using a heat exchanger pot to save fuel, it would be ready in about a minute or two instead of 9+2 Lol.
