@@johnlord7854 sailing through the Caribbean has been difficult with covid but that said I would prefer our disjointed journey over being locked down any day We are thankful for the freedom this lifestyle allows

Jeśli wpłyniesz na Kanary to z pewnością nie będziesz się tam nudzić jako żeglarz. Szczególnie w przelotach między wyspami. Tam to dopiero wiatr potrafi się z jachtem zabawić ;)

I use this phrase in every day life (on land) so looking forward to the lessons ln the sea. How long would it take a complete beginner to be able to navigate around Dodecanese?

@@FitterfasterukCoUk Its a how long is a piece of string question and really depends on your attitude your instructor and equipment at your disposal however from a standing start a 2 week course will give you some of the basics. Its really then time on the water and being exposed to different situations along with taking a common sense approach but common sense is not so common anymore......Plan well, Plan ahead, stay aware of weather and potential hazards, have a plan B,C,D, sail within your comfort zone, reef early because when you think should you? the answer is yes 15 minutes ago. That said its a taste of freedom and adventure so go enjoy!!

There are about 20 boats with liveaboards of course being a touristy place you did not notice at the start however this became one big family after lockdown and the tourists went. It is a great atmosphere here!!
