He did appear to catch the ball for over 1 second before dropping it again. Why does this not count as a fly out?

In NFHS high school ball what determines a catch is what the player does after the ball touches his glove, not the length of time. He needs to make a physical act after the touch while holding the ball. Take steps, change direction. or begin a throw, you now would have a catch. Any on of these requirements shows he had control of the ball.

You would get a lot more views and engagement if you didnt disable comments on all your videos. Its a real turn off when viewing your channel. Appreciate the content but its not a great look.
