To be fair, that was my advantage here. I say that confidence is 95% of speed. Most of those lads were on their first trackday or only had a few, I'd done 9 the previous year. Against more experienced riders, my mere 91hp Guzzi wouldn't have stood a chance!

The good old ASI Paratrooper a modern classic air rifle. The magazine was a bit dodgy and they weren't particularly powerful however a really accurate little rifle, great fun and good to look at with its crackle finish frame and slightly military look. The .22" version didn't use a magazine. My brother owned a .22" and .177" version.

I had one in about 1980 the repeating action use to chop some pellets in half so I used as a single shot .....gimmicky riffle only any good used on a fair ground

I think I heard this and Devil & Darkness from a mix tape my sister was given by her boyfriend. It immediately struck me as something new, something in a style I'd never heard before. I could have sworn blind that they were an Australian band. Years later I grabbed this from Napster. Couldn't find it anywhere else so uploaded it. I'm glad I could help you find it again!

the "official" youtube topic version has 2. I was the second... It's a bit sad, also I believe the name of the artist is Jospeh. He said on the Spirit Spine facebook in 2016 there'll probably be no more spirit spine music... I'm... I feel the weight of that in a really ambivalent way, the selfish id who wants more of this guy's music, the sad reality that there probably will be no more of it, and the anger that this is not more widely known... It feels unfair, but also pure... It has a... romantic air to it, and it feels like if he did get a lot more recognition, this very particular style and soul would not be there, it would morph into something that is no longer itself. It's just sad. The kinda stuff that has no proper reasoning or explanation, about which a million comments can be made and essays written to no avail. And that makes it worth talking about and preserving, this little gem we found. Joseph may not release more Spirit Spine music, but we have what he already released, and it'd be a shame if it were lost. I also recommend Fugue state
