Even though it wasn't my high school, you must understand the importance Black Watch DT had on drill, it's been ever lasting. Thank you for uploading!

Look at the size of the crowd. That was drill’s Golden Age.

I can't begin to describe the nostalgia seeing this routine brings me. My best friend and I froze this frame by frame to get this down cold. We never saw this level of skill in our state. Fantastic memories right here.

Outstanding presentation, only thing that I hate to point out is, the State flag seems to be positioned slightly higher than the National.

Blake Draughn might just be the height of the flag carrier

I have to say, this routine has the same flavor it did way back in the early 2000's. I know the team is small, but with proper training and dedication, the Queen's Guard could potentially come back with a vengeance. As a person who has been drilling for over 15 years now, I can say that I consider the Queen's Guard drill team to be one of my favorite teams. I would love to work with y'all!!

These are young people giving it all they have. If you have any rank at all, it needs to be snatched and given to someone worthy. You, sir, are a POS.

CplMidgetJeff it’s a drill competition. This particular video is of a high school jrotc drill team that put together their own routine. It has nothing to do with nationality specifically.

Crazy thing is, I believe this routine is still very competitive; it trumphs BW's current routine substantially. If BW brought back the snap and precision that they had in their prime days, they would become the power house that they once were

+bmx687 Ever since Major Mikesell retired as SAI, the drill has never been up to that level. It was practice every day in the hot sun and fierce competition. You would practice at home and in your sleep. Drill was the backbone of ROTC and he drilled it into every cadet. Cadets sacrificed their high school years for drill. That's why they were so good back then. Major Mikesell made drill gods.

@@Iao74185 Sure would be nice if more instructors were like that.
