hi guys, I apologize for my english, I'm Brazilian and I'm using Google Translate, lol. I was able to open the server and connect using my IPv4, my friends were also able to connect to my public IP to play. However, ports 16261 and 16262 remain unreachable on an open ports test site that I use to confirm. Also appeared the error "No UPnP enabled Internet gateway found, you must configure port forwarding on your gateway manually to make your server accessible from the Internet." Honestly, I don't even know how this is working, but it worked for me lol If anyone could explain to me why it is working despite the error, I would be grateful. detail: I have UPnP activated in my internet provider's modem settings.

Question: I'm new to this public server/dedicated server (most just play solo). If I want to make this dedicated server with mods, does my PC need to stay on or I can just left it like when using valve hosted server??

@@adhikaputraagrawijnana4305 You have to keep the server console running and your PC has to stay on if you want the server to be available for you and your friends.

Hello there, greetings from germany. awesome guide! i struggeld hard on the port forwarding. in the end it wasnt even my bad. my internet runs via. DS-Lite. So you dont have a puplic ipv4. I called my provider and ask them if they can change it to normal DS. Wasnt a big deal. 20-30mins later everything works fine for me. sorry for my bad english. Thanks for the video! Ciao.

7:13 "and for IP we are going to paste in the public IP that we found" ehm ... ya sure ? public ip on same machine as the server = calling ur self ?? if its the same machine you have server on as well ur project zomboid game then it should be the IP you already had in there (127.0.0.1) so local host. should it ? cause i dont remember you mentioning anything about you using 2 separe machines...

Hello, What i've done to reset the server/world. Open the zomboid folder under (User name), open up saves, multiplayer, then select the server. Should be called Server test. Copy a back up in case. Delete the folder. In this case "servertest"

Honestly, right now, snipers and tapco are meta, ESPECIALLY on island. Whether it be church hills or lab sniper rock, island is the premier place to use a sniper. Although, matka is a good runner-up if you know the surroundings. I remember when jump shotting/peaking was the most OP thing in the game (it still is a really strategy, just not the best)

Good question, this gunstock does just fine with shotguns. Slight learning curve for that specific weapon type, but it's excellent for everything else.

Guides like these are what turns new players into experienced ones. I was lucky enough to stumble upon GOT extremely early on, and seeing the game go from 60 players peak to at times over 900 is amazing. People like you are what keeps the game alive. Why doesn't Meta come out with an upgraded headstrap and battery? They could make sure that it is optimized to work with their device. It would also create some sales for them.
