Thanks. Good video. On another subject, how to you like the Super ATV winch? I like the fact that it has a remote controller. Was it difficult to wire the winch up. Assume you ran wires back to the battery? Thanks.

I love the super Atv winch for the wireless remote. Must have for when you are out alone. It’s pretty straightforward to install. The Talon has the power wire for the winch ready run up to the front from the battery. It’s taped up under the plastics in the drivers side. Just under the hood.

Just picked up a 2024 Talon after watching all your videos. Loving it so far! Lots of goodies order. I’m watching even tho I couldn’t dare own a poolaris. OG Maverick would have been pretty awesome build. My 2016 XMR was a beast but we don’t play with rocks just mud and sand here in FL

That’s awesome. I still love my Talon. Glad to hear you are enjoying yours. Adding the goodies is all part of the fun. We do watch a few channels from Florida. Lots of Talons going deep down there. They seem to be very popular in Florida. I am still not too sure about this Polaris RZR. Might be a good machine for the girls. lol.

Thanks for the video. We have done a fair bit of research now on the rear diff pinion nut issues. We even found a rear diff and the guy did this fix on the pinion nut. So let the fun begin. We will see how it holds up after we get a few other things buttoned up. Stay tuned.

@@sideshowguysGood to hear , only thing i don’t like about the 800 is where the belt is located. It’s behind the seat and looks like it would be a bit$ch to change out on the trail if it breaks. Don’t forget about the oil pressure relief valve too . the dowel pin can get stuck and cause high oil pressure. blowing the oil filter

@ Thanks for the info. All great points. The belt location is a bit odd. But really not the bad to get to it. But heck I did it in the garage when the machine was clean. Different story out on the trail covered in mud. I have been looking at a few different fixes for the oil relief set up. Have a few ideas for it too. We will see how things go.

Another problem with the rzr 800 is the oil pressure relief valve. next to the oil filter there’s a bolt you take out that has a spring and dowel pin that can get stuck . if it does will cause high pressure blowing the oil filter and destroying the engine. Easy fix just replace the dowel pin , using a small magnetic pen to pull the dowel pin out and put in two 5/16 ball bearings to replace the dowel pin . Put the spring back in and the bolt

@@sideshowguys Big reason i sold my 2011 800s and drove 5 hrs to QC and bought a high mileage 2016 900s for $8700 . It’s a way better machine . The problem with the 800 is it’s old technology that even the aftermarket companies are starting to not make parts for anymore

Big problem with the rzr 800 is the pinion nut in the rear end . The factory used a nylon nut and didn’t torque to the right specs which i believe is like 250 ft lbs . If the nut backs off it will destroy your rear differential and could damage the transmission. Just search rzr 800 rear differential pinion nut problem for your self . There a guy on youtube with a whole video on how to do the fix . I know you guys can do the job but you need custom tools to torque the nut down with red lock tite and have to rip apart the whole rear end in order to get to the rear differential

@@sideshowguys the problem is you really don’t know for sure if the nut was torqued correctly unless you tear into the rear differential. you need special home made tools to stop the shaft from spinning while torquing the nut down . Also you can either buy a all steel nut from polaris without the nylon or just burn the nylon off from the original nut and use high temp red lock tite . It cost me $80 for the steel nut from dealer. Amazon wanted $100

I hated that idea and didn’t feel comfortable making my own tools so sold it for a newer 16 900s . All the brands have issues pick your poison . seeing your past videos i know you can handle the job

Don we were looking for cheap and Red. So that limited our options. Kind the best of both worlds. Honda and Polaris. Which is still what our channel is mostly about. Aside from a few others. lol. No need for an extra tow strap. I don’t think that Yamaha can tow more than one machine at a time. Plus with all your Rmax buddies coming out on the rides you will be busy helping them.

This thing is good to go with the axle delete kit. If I reverse that I am not sure anyone will be able to follow us. No turbo needed for this small fun bus. Horsepower is not always the answer to going places.
