How does this piece of music affect to the people who lived in Japan in 90s

I was introduced to this amazing album by my late father. We heard most the songs during our afternoon car ride, as played by local jazz radio in my hometown, Bandung. Until we meet again Papa.

Minutes before the time of typing, I picked up from where I left off in this marvelous album... starting a new "assignment completion session" in my humble university dorm with "The Day of Selection" to get me jumpstarted. I've heard a few themes from this album back in early 2023 via their Super Best 2000 compilation album, but I hadn't listened to the entirety of "Be" until very recently--particularly during late September [2024, of course] during a library study session & now. I must say, although many of Casiopea's 1990s works remain underappreciated and under-heard (this album as well as "Freshness" are too good to have a listen [or "view"] count of 11,000 or less; deserves more than a million!), this theme is _truly, _*_wholeheartedly_* a treasure. While I was having an "off" day here at college, with plenty of assignments to complete or work on, I've also felt down and quite overwhelmed. This theme hit my soul in a way other Jazz Fusion themes haven't... so sincere, heartwarming, and beautiful... From an already stellar album, this F major comforter of a piece had a distinct, restorative quality that I really needed today. This is like "Tears of the Star" for a modern age, achieved almost 20 years after their initial studio release of that same theme. Frankly, I would even say I love this piece even more than Tears of the Star, though the impact and value of that piece should not be understated. Thank God I chose to listen to this now; it's really motivated me to keep pressing on! To power through! To continue persevering, as I already have many times before--as a child, and last week! 😆 *And to those who looked at this very comment section:* You can do this! You are capable, and you can achieve truly great things! Through all obstacles, work to maintain positive mind; listen to the best of your inner child, and success shall change from just a _possibility,_ into a *certainty!* Keep hope alive through all trying times, and rest assured that... *_Amazing things await us, folks!_* - Timothy D. (@TimelessTimothy)

hey brother (or sister) i put on be just a minute ago and this song came on. ( apple music ) but i came to this comment section to show my appreciation. it seems we are on the same timing, as i am also completing an assignment session right now. good luck in life. i am happy to share my appreciation with someone else in my situation :) and i will listen to the other pieces you have mentioned here (p.s) cry with terra, will you love me tomorrow (really anything on the compilation "gentle and mellow" (studio selections) and fightman (live, on the groove and passion compilation live album) are all amazing and you should give them a listen
