I removed the cap and shifted the small upper metal disc inside towards sideways Now it make minimal noise

Could it be solved also by just soldering the faulty switch out, and replacing it with a different one? Possibly not even from the same mouse? It shouldn't reaally matter honestly, right?

I bought a G502 lightspeed 10€ with this problem, i was going to change the switchs but found your video and fixed it with your method 😃 The copper parts in the switchs are a bit tricky to put back correctly.

Dangerous? Do you know how many amps a car draws when starting, to crank the engine with the starter motor? If it doesn't blow then, it won't blow up when hooked to a drill. Current during intensive drilling may go up to 40Amps, it's true, but a car battery can handle that just fine. Even small liion 18650 batteries can handle peaks of 40Amps, they will heat up, of course, but not explode. A car battery will probably not even heat up. Actually, it's the drill motor that may give up first, the coil can burn under load, as there is enough current to overheat it. The drill is most vulnerable when stuck or very low speed and you keep pushing it, the fan is not cooling much on low speed. (not actually a fan, just some blades on rotor to move the air, direct relation to rotor speed). If it were to have some auxiliary fan, it would have been much more reliable.

THIS CAN'T WORKS 3.7+3.7=7.4V, but, if this multimeter receive less than 9v, it shows fakes values 2:41 have you ever seen a 1.5V battery wich can delivery more than 1.5V? The multimeter is actually showing a value of 10.82V, it's impossible. So, sorry but your diy project can't works
