Thanks for the video. Random I know but I was actually looking for advice for a cat litter disposal system and this video helped me choose! The funny thing is that both the Diaper Genie and Dekor companies also make slightly different cat versions, which are smaller, less well built and with more expensive refills than the baby versions. Considering having a cat is a very long term investment this video helped me pick the more user friendly and economical option for the long term!

#7 PLASTIC: OTHER Plastic 7 is actually everything else that does not refer to described above plastic recycling codes. Plastic number 7 includes new plastics, bioplastic, and items composed of different types of plastics. This recycling logo also stands for polycarbonate (PC) which contains highly dangerous BPA (Bisphenol A). Try to avoid products with the PC label. Dekor is the way to go. It’s less harm to the environment. You can even find recycled material refills.

No, I don't have a tutorial. I really just used fishing line and tied the beads and roses onto it. Then tied it onto an embroidery hoop. Then I just eye balled the spacing to be honest!

My dekor diaper paill is identical to this one, but the inner ring that holds the refills is different on mine. It has the same flat edge on both sides and one end Is spring loaded 🤷‍♂️

Lansinoh does have different sized nipples. I've bought mine on Amazon. I have found that they work well on mam bottles too since one of my sons didn't like the nipple on the mam. Also, I read somewhere that there is an offset nipple on the Ola baby bottle that fits on the Como tomo bottle. That might save you some breastmilk.

Did you ever find bags that are consecutive feed tie off that are UNSCENTED?? I really want the Dekor Plus but I'm scared I won't find non scented bags that work with it.. I know I can use regular bags but still searching after hours and can't find un-scented that go with this specifically lol

I haven't found any unscented. We've been using Baby feel brand from Amazon. They are still scented, but not as bad as the name brand.

On the dekor one, can you tie the knot before putting the holder back in? Rather than opening the bottom and thing the knot then?

Yes, you can put the bags on the plastic insert, pull it through, and tie it. Then put the insert into the bin.

As far as smell. My changing area will be in the middle of my apartment. I like what u said about your pick... but since it'll be so central that's my main concern. Wanting a foot operated one with good odor control.

I've been using them both for a while now and I think the diaper genie does better with odor control. I did find some bags through Amazon for the dekor that work better. But neither of them will hold all the odors.

It possible to use a regular garbage bag with the diaper genie as well. I’ve seen a hack the diaper genie circular portion (that usually gets trashed) & a cinch in garbage bag.

After using both of the pails for several months, I do believe the Diaper Genie does a better job with smell control than the Dekor Plus. I did just purchase some different bags for the Dekor, so I'm anxious to see if those help. I will do another video on the smell factor!
