Nice to see you making your way south. I always tighten up the yard hauling parrell (snotter) after reefing my sail but honestly I rarely reef the foresail unless it's getting up close to 30 knots. But my boat is a bit smaller than yours.

I've been watching your videos for about a month and am finally caught up. I'm a fan of Gazelles and aluminium yachts, would absolutely love to see a detailed tour of Glacier Gem! Also if you ever plan to sell her it would be an enormous sin not to advertise the fact on KZbin.

That's because you ebikers often think the lighter gears are there for decoration. I'm surprised the chain didn't snap.

Ha...the chain derailed and I stopped pedaling. The chain then caught on the sprocket and the motor sensed I was still pedaling and wrapped itself in the blink of an eye. Wouldn't have happened on a regular bike.

We had perfect south winds predicted. It was a different story on the water. At least it was calm!
