Why are you selling the plucker?

Fly tiers across the world crying right now. Save the neck and saddle hackle, tail and schlappen, then pluckaduck lol. Some of the neck capes if they have grizzly pattern go for a cheap price of $200+ alone, then 60for the saddle, 10-20 5-7inch schlappen is 8-10bucks Aussie dollars. But they like them on skinned animals front/belly side, neck down and peel back. You could maybe figure out how to partially deskin certain areas then pluck but dunno how it'd hold up in the pluckaduck 9000 rubber finger thing. If the feathers are fully intact, zero and i mean zero damage at the exhaust and you wanna sort looking for them you could maybe sell some. But check out Grizzly neck cape, Schlappen 5-7inch, saddle hackle and depending on breed you might need a sit down to realize how much has been wasted haha. The preperation method is basically borax on the cut out pieces, 5 days sunlight and remove the fats on the skin. Even the white birds have a bit of value, roosters have more especially the longer the hackle feathers and the barred grizzly look. The pure white ones schlappen is useful for tarpon/barramundi fly called the Pink thing for saltwater. Hens I think they use for freshwater smaller fish hooks (I'm saltwater). Can possibly save the skin for your food if you find tyers interested in loose hackle, pull them out or cut close to skin and the schlappen (I believe it's where the saddle meets tail. Long tail feathers I think aren't used as much unless they are flowy in water. Little bit of work with a potential bigger reward if you have the right breeds or can market them. Even gifts to fly tyers. You might get a fish in return. There's a very special genetically bred plymouth rock they use for grizzly, whiting farms do it. That's the show ponies and big dollar ones. If you can find the chickabou feathers they are also worth something too.

Great build, bud. I like the use of electrical controls on a propane burner. There's definitely huge benefits to both like precision electrical controls and safety/portability advantages to propane. The only things I would add would be a pneumatic air latch with a foot bladder and a few electrical enclosures. . It's a lot safer and I don't have to worry about water ruining my foot pedal.

The water must not have been very hot. Normally leaving it in that long would have cooked the skin, which then would break when it went in the plucker.
