Gas company called and said there was a leak > proceeds to run a combustion engine over said leak > 🔥
@Clineenergy
@Clineenergy Жыл бұрын
Natural gas is a bit different from diesel or gas when it comes to that. Also the leak was a pin hole and 3 foot deep so by the time the gas made its way to the surface it was already very diluted. These are the kinds of things taken into consideration when working over pipelines. We work around Natural Gas pipelines everyday.

Morbark stop building good chippers and grinders 20 years ago. Today’s Morbark chippers and grinders are built with such thin metal that Most guys I know running them can’t get 600hours out of them without major cracking in many of the critical areas. One of the machines had less than 300 hours on it, and the shaft was cracking away from the chipping drum. Been buying bandit whole tree chippers for the past 17 years. Only machines made that actually hold up overtime. I contribute that to the fact that BANDIT puts very thick steel in all the right areas and has their systems figure it out to a true science..

Hi Jeremy. I would think that your team would be an asset to future builds of their chippers. It is the little things that make it count right? Especially for your business. I hope that the company takes your tweaks and adds them to future projects.

We are going to see if they would open to see what all we’ve done. So far we’ve have to do the tweaks ourselves. This is our second chipper to pull in brand new to work on.

Not at all. You would think the company would want to put some of their engineers on the road for a few weeks to see what could be improved by meeting with some companies running their equipment. They just might end up making a machine to good though! 🫢
