Love this, the honesty and ultimately positive outlook from these guys is brilliant. Can relate very closely to what they're talking about and I never tire of listening to these stories because it's always a sharp reminder of why sobriety wins hands down.

I really can't believe the one for the road podcasts have zero comments - it's one of the most refreshing watches around. As someone who's life has been broken by a partner's drinking what this gives to me is invaluable. Thank you Dave.

Cannot understand why no one is commenting on this - it's truly inspirational.

I have absolutely LOVED this chat and resonated with so much of what Emily shared, especially the hungover schoolruns😔. 3 years sober now through AA but am very interested in the sober/AF online communities which I didn't know existed until recently. How can I join the group Dave?

Excellent stuff Dave and Emily. First discovered Dave on Will & Ralf Podcast. Almost everything you said resonated - drinking alone, hiding bottles, even pissed off when brewers lowered drink alcohol percentages 😄 Am heading back to Australia in March for what will be last hurrah with family and friends and then I reckon I'm done. People like yourself offer unbelievable hope of how good sobriety must be.

This was a heartbreaking, but incredible episode: I listened to it twice. As alcoholism killed my mother and I am a recovering alcoholic myself, I think it’s so important that stories like this are shared. Well done Amber for being so brave and Dave for an excellent interview.

Such a positive message, love all the podcasts (currently working my way through from the beginning but decided to review this one first) it's really cheered me up today, strung together a good few months on the wagon since Oct 2021 but my heart wasn't really in it until May last year, had a few "one night stands" with booze since then & I'm now just over 10 weeks fully committed. I'm continually being asked what's changed for me "this time".... all that's changed is my mindset & these podcasts are really helpful - appreciate you all, cheers a lot Dave & Andy xx
