Hello, If you're unable to open the tab to remove the bracket, you should still be able to slowly and carefully pull the bracket out of the CD slot. If that still doesn't work, feel free to reach out to our support team by emailing [email protected]. Hope this helps!

How well does this work with the Google Pixel 8pro. I tried using your regular Auto Sense and it seems to only "hold" the phone charge especially when using Google maps constantly while driving. I took a long distance trip and it barely charged my phone while using it for navigation. I undertand this does 15 w for Google Pixle.

DO NOT BUY IF YOUR OUTSIDE TEMS GET UNDER 70 DEGREES. I like mine when it's above 70 degrees, colder than that and the arms don't move..can't get a reply for help from iottie

I think that there is no such thing as a dashboard/windshield mount that is effective. Its like the mythical Leprechauns - doesn't exist, and is a never ending black hole that sucks money from humanity.

It depends on the Dashboard. The suction cup works best when installed on a smooth, flat surface, so in cars with a slightly curved or textured dashboard it's better to use the adhesive pad. If you're attaching the mount to the windshield, or have a flat/smooth dash, there's no need to use the sticky pad.

Thank you for your question. To remove the dashboard pad, grip a side of the pad (grip the small tab on the base for suction cup), and pull up slowly. If you feel a lot of resistance, gently slide dental floss, a credit card or a putty knife under the pad to help loosen the seal. If there's still resistance, try 'Goo Gone' to loosen the adhesive. Are you supposed to use both plates? Or just the small one with NO CASe or the large one with a CASE? In both cases does it stick to your phone?

The smaller one is designed for Qi-enabled phones so that the plated doesn't interfere with the wireless charging feature. The larger plate is for devices that don't have wireless charging. If you're using a phone case, we would recommend using the larger plate and attaching it directly to your phone.

@@iOttieOfficial this needs to be clarified. I'm using a case on a phone with wireless charging. 1) which plate should I use and 2) where should it be mounted? So far my tests show that I can either keep wireless charging or use the iOttie holder. But I apparently can't have both.

I had this Iottie with another of their vent mount product. I liked it's versatility but I hated everything else how it shook everytime I drive. The lower adjustable foot gave up in just a month due to the weight of my S 10+ and I stilled used it but each screw started loosing up after 2 months and fall apart. So, I had no choice but to throw the rest in the trash and buy a vent mount which I also hated for not being stable under the weight of my phone; but this Iottie vent car mount is way more resistant than the one above and that's the one I still have. Go for the vent mount because the one above won't last long.

I tried mounting mine to my air vent but the charging base doesn't stay connected to the piece in the vent. It's way too loose.

Maybe I just got a defective unit, but mine does not work whatsoever! Every time I put my iPhone into the holder, it slips right out! I tried to attach the plate to the dashboard and the adhesive for whatever tape you’re using will not stick so the plate does not stay for very long before it comes out. I try using the suction cup on the windshield itself and it just keeps falling down so unfortunately, this is a no go for me.
