I wonder is that why he looks at her the way he does. He looks at her with affection to which is why some fans want them to be be together. I want her with Luca. I think she matches his personality more.

I think you’re wrong here - the people, in this case Richie, does not see Tina as an applicant for a job. In fact, Tina isn’t even in Chicago Beef for a job. She just wanted some hot coffee as she waited for a bus back home. Richie gives her a coffee on a whim and then, serendipitously, a sandwich that was left out. Also, Richie isn’t the one who introduces himself and has a conversation with her. It’s Mikey that does this. Did you watch the episode? Or am I just talking to an AI bot and wasting my time. It’s just unfortunate that the important points are not summarized correctly for a great episode of a great show.

I think the people she was talking about were all the other people before Richie. The narrator specifically uses Richie's name when speaking about him and all the other people Tina interacted with gets called "these people/those people"

The narrator is talking about the previous interviews she did during the montage. She calls Richie by name every time she talks about him. Also richie is the one to introduce himself. "Do you like a french dip? Well thats an italian dip" "Im Richie" and shakes her hand. Just slow down friend and take in the info.

Name of the track during these scenes is apparently created by Nine Inch Nails. It's called "Together." Agreed that this is a great choice by the scorers.

I'm not yet done listening to the podcast, but I am interested as to why you both think that Sydney and Carmy having a romantic relationship would be the wrong way to go. I personally don't care either way, but I've noticed how some viewers are so adamant that Sydney’s & Carmy's relationship should remain platonic. I do not see how the panic attack scene can be interpreted as platonic, simply based on what we're shown in the scene, and I notice how those who are opposed to Sydney & Carmy being together romantically never really touch too much on the panic attack scene. They kind of just skip over it, or talk about it vaguely, like it doesn’t really matter and think it’s because they know that there is no platonic explanation for it, so they mainly focus on the table scene. Interesting.

I got the feeling that Marcus likes Sydney, but she doesn’t like him in that way. Also, people can feel however they want, but I have to ask, where does the idea come from that a friendship between a man and a woman will end if they decide to pursue a romantic relationship? There are plenty of couples, whether dating or married, where they started off as friends and still have a strong friendship alongside a romantic one. You two aren’t the first to kind of say this, I just wanted to leave a comment on this. Also, I’ve never seen or heard so many anti-romance comments until I found out about this show. It’s kind of weird considering that this show is a “slice-of-life” kind of show. Romance is a part of life y’all 😂😂😂
