If you are after the colour and texture alone, "cooking" time and temperature can vary. But if you are interested in its medicinal potency as well like doubling its antioxidant level to fight oxidative stresses and to boost your immune system, there is a recommended time, temperature and humidity which cannot be ignored.

You should explain that here. It would help a lot of people, I'm sure.

Here in Asia ( where black garlic originates) resellers claim that the ageing time took them several weeks (3 to 4 weeks depending on the type used) at high temperature and 80 - 90 deg C. I use black garlic primarily to boost my immune system and I found it very effective.

I have had an Icybreeze for 3 years. I really like it but you have to understand what this is. It will not cool a room. You need to have it constantly blowing on you and it will cool you off. The ice will melt in a few hours. The more water you have on the bottom the longer the ice will last. Also, you can freeze your own blocks of ice to make it last longer. I have uses this in my truck driving 200 miles in the middle of the day with the sun blaring on me and 92 degrees outside. Holding the vent in front of my face while driving I was able to not sweat for the first two hours.

Lighting a perfecto: Cut very small part of the tip before you cut at the cap. Then take a moment and draw before lighting to add oxygen throughout the filler. Light the tip. Some rotate as they do. That usually works for a perfect one-time-go for lighting.

@@midhataboallail Cohiba Shorts don’t really have any verification tools built in as they are relatively low priced machine made cigars. The authenticity checks only apply to the hand made offering. That being said, I think it’s unlikely there are too many fake Shorts out there since they are so low priced to begin with. I’d go by provenance here, where were they purchased from? That’s probably all you need to know to determine if Shorts are authentic.

Getting a dedicated freezer for the back room. Will use freezer in summer months to freeze gallons of water jugs and smaller bottles and some regular old freeze packs and use solar charged battery to run cooler. Can run freezer often with other solar battery so I wont be using grid power much for that. Switch jugs during the day to keep it going cold and strong. Reviews seem great provided you use constant ice cold water and keep it as cold as can be for as long as you can. Large frozen jugs take much longer to melt. I could supplement house ac sometmes for good spot cooling and to use in the classic car. I'll put it on the passenger or rear floor and just shoot the air right on me. Should work for that, and would seem great at a long red light in the middle of the summer. I think I'll get one.

@AGuThingАй бұрын
Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately I don’t currently have any Epicure No 2s and being in the US, I’m not able to purchase a single. That being said I can make a recommendation. If you have or can get your hands on the Epi No 2 that’s over a year old, preferably 3 or more, this is hands down the winner. (Cubans have the box date printed on the bottom of each box). If you’re only able to find younger sticks - might be worth picking up to let them age a little but to smoke now, I’d go with the Monte White.
@qazwsxzwharpАй бұрын
These will never work apart from just blowing a little cool air directly on you. 10 pounds of ice has 1,440 BTUs of cooling capacity. A typical vehicle AC has an output of about 15,000 BTUs per hour. Essentially, you would have to melt an entire cooler of ice every 5 minutes to cool down a car effectively.
