Thank you for the demo. I've been thinking of getting this same set up but haven't seen a good video of it in a rural area until now. I'm trying to decide between the s6 or the m1. What are your thoughts?
@stephendavis89012 ай бұрын
The s6 will probably have a bigger hot spot and not throw as far as the m1 because the m1 has a bigger reflector. But the s6 is more compact. I would love to see a throw measurement and beam profile of the m1 with cslpm1 green. I think you will be impressed with either host if you do not mind the green tint.
Good timing. Darren Yeo has a new you tube review of the m1 green cslnm1 with a throw of 942 meters!!

it almost perfect.but i miss the momentary feature.i guess its a trade off compare to nitecore edc35 with some spot beam.i hope any manufacturer combine both of these two brand and model feature in one.pros for sc33 was removable battries,while edc 35 have momentary switch &spot beam.As a flashlight maniac,i have them both😅.And other type also.if people around you ask,why have so many?My answers simple.Answer their questions also with questions.(why eat different menu for your entire life?.or why not eat the same menu 365?)😂😂😂😂😂.I ll subscribe to see your channel grows.

I got into flashlights and headlamps almost 2 years ago and since the number of us "flashlight maniacs" is low I am helping in a very modest way by providing beam shots of lights I buy. The videos are simple to make and easy for me to do. Thank you for your support and comment. The only Nitecore I have is the awesome 2017 nu25 headlamp, my go to for backpacking. I love the high cri flood led.

Which do you think is brighter this W2 or the sft40 6500? I got the w2/pm.f1 in the S6 already.
@stephendavis89016 ай бұрын
I do not have the sft40 in this host but have it in the wurkkos fc12 which has a similar deep reflector. The fc12 is a little bit brighter but the cslpm1 in the s6 has more throw and very good spill. I am really impressed with the s6 and the cslpm1. My s21a with the same emitters is not centered properly but still throws about as far as the s6 according to my eyes. Does the green cslpm1 throw well in your s6?

In my collection of flashlights, the Convoy L21B sft 40 is the longest-range and has no equal. Even Convoy 3X21A SBT90.2, which costs 2.5 times more, does not shine as far. But the Wurkkos TS32 flashlight costs more than we would like, and its closest competitor with a more affordable price is the Sofirn IF30.
@stephendavis89017 ай бұрын
I like the lumens of the multiple 519a's in the ts32, but the sft 40 in that light is not as intense as it is in the l21b. The l21b is almost perfect.

@TheGrenadier979 ай бұрын
Another question, what do you think is the range at 20%?
@stephendavis89019 ай бұрын
@@TheGrenadier97 It does have the orange peel reflector. There are other emitters like the sft 40 and the cslnm1 that are better throwers at the cost of lower cri. @@stephendavis8901 No? Interesting. My M21B has an FC40 4500K, and there's a _significant_ tint shift between the center of the beam and the lateral spill. The center is much warmer, like 3800K vs. almost 5000K of the spill. That and the center is not the brightest part; rather, it's the corona around it. Even the untrained eye can see it, and it doesn't have to be against a white wall at all. It's still a really good light with a really nice illumination factor, mind. I use it constantly, probably the most of all my torches.

The XHP70 has a nice flood pattern, BUT I cna see more details with the GT FC40, probably due to the higher CRI. I have this GT FC40 emitter in a couple of Convoy M21x lights and love both the 4500K & 5000K CCT's. I actually prefer it over the Nichia 519a.

I also really like the combination of high lumens and high cri of the gt fc40 but the xhp70.2 has better efficiency and does not get as hot as the gt fc40 or the 519a. There are so many great choices.
