Ha, right though? I think he was more of a 'trader' than a seller. He was more willing make a deal in that respect than some of the other vendors were. If I recall, he and I almost worked a solid trade, but I think I decided not to pull the trigger.

Ha, yeah! I won’t blame The Poor Man for what happened to that box - the important thing is the stuff inside was in good shape, and that’s what counts! I went to sort Soviet Strike into the PS1 collection and realized I actually had Nuclear Strike. Must have gotten that in a lot buy at one point. 🙃

@@emmettturner9452 Oh no, sounds like it was maybe damaged a bit? My original plan was to put a nice frame around it and somehow couple it with the other Rampage art somewhere in the game room. If it's looking bad enough to not frame, I probably couldn't work my plan properly. I appreciate the offer though, it's a super awesome poster and an great piece of gaming history!

Just realized I never answered your question about the group. The Retro Collective is a bunch of gaming related channels that came together and formed a trade group a few years back. Most of us met chatting in The Poor Mans Retro Gameroom comments section and it just kinda grew fun there. We now have members meet up at Gaming conventions, log into zoom calls with multiple members of the group, etc. Pretty fun stuff!
