Quit whining like a baby and scaring other passagers.. turbolace during landing on that route is the most common thing, and that one even wasent that bad.. Take it from someone who is from the faroe islands, and a frequent passager on that route

What are you screaming about? Faroe Islands are amongst the most difficult places on the planet, to fly upon, due to several factors, like terrain, bad and foggy weather, and a very short runway 1350m (even though it used to be only 950m), which means the pilots have to hit the breaks, immediately after impact. Don’t fly to the Faroes if you’re this scared hun. Just take the ferry the next time. Ps. I’ve experienced way way worse than this. This I would sleep through

I was on that flt and im a pilot too but i was a passenger going to see my wife in faroeislands but i dont fly for atlantic airways But the pilots did an amazing job !! I shook their hands after

The Faroes are one of the most difficult places on the planet, to put down a plane. Our runway used to be 950 m, but we got it lengthened to 1350 m a few years back. Back then, only specially trained pilots were allowed to fly upon the Faroes. I think that is not active anymore, but due to terrain, and constantly bad and foggy and windy weather, this place is hell, for most pilots.

@@ANGELIQUE-1977 well im an airline pilot and i have few Atlantic airways pilots friends and i ve seen the charts the runway is longer than 1350m but yes its very challenging and its not just length but also width is 27m which in aviation world thats actually super challenging Giving also the geographical location and the obstacle(mountains) not good for airplane performance for go around and plus being a low pressure region in the atlantic makes the weather change alot which gives something we call windshear a chance to show up much more and making the wind coming from all directions. Given all that leaves us with the very low visibility yet wet runways which affect plane performance to stop after landing All that mentioned above i think faroese pilots are build of steal and they are pretty good pilots i agree with you

These people have no common sense. I tried on the other sight, and they clueless. They tried to tear you down with vulgar language, which sure doesn't support there cause. The Sea Shepard aren't trying to hurt the whales, they are trying to turn them around from what's ahead of them. Denmark has their big ship in the background, maybe we ought to bring in the big guns? Boycott the Faroe Island and Denmark. Stop vacations, products from Denmark for supporting this slaughter. Also they say they respect the whales. What a lie, children laying on dead ones, one kid trying to surf on another, another sitting next dead one sticking it in the head with some instrument. A woman standing in the blood bath laughing as a guy is butchering the whale. That is not respect, they don't know what the word means. They may arrest people, but more will come. We won't go away either!!! If you are against this butchering, pass the info on.

Oh really?? You got a picture of a woman laughing whil a guy is killing a whale. Do you KNOW that she is laughing at him killing the whale or do you just make that assumption?? And yet there were deep wounds cut into several whales from their propellers.. the Faroese boats take great care of keeping a distance to ensure that the whales are not hit by the boat or the propellers, where as the ss boat went rampaging right through the pod, injuring several. Of course you wont believe it, being the religious zealot that you are, but that does not change the fact that they DID injure several whales in their media stunt.
