My first Favourite song ......... heard it when i was 9 yrs old and fell in love with it . I love every version of it but this is by far my absolute favourite .... fantastic vocals and incredible guitar by Pete Robinson . LOVE IT

I love what this man has become and also what he was, way back. I first saw him on an old TV show Happening 70 and'71, I was about 11. Precursors to Countdown. Now has an amazing vocal register and power. Also a mean guitarist. Collaborates with many people. Aria Hall of Fame awardee. Legend.

Fantastic; been listening to Russell Morris since I was 13 in 1969 and still enjoy his music. I heard the song "The Real Thing" which was playing on a transistor radio while travelling home from Perth Western Australia, on a bus after selling newspapers on a street corner after school. Russell Morris recently sang this song for a Perth fundraising event (Telethon) and the performance was faultless and priceless. What a wonderful talent, performer and generous man. He is gold as his music brings so much joy and pleasure. West Australians dug deep for telethon raising a lot of $$$$ for children's hospital, medical research and donated while watching quality performances performed by quality talent such a Russell Morris so we thank him very much. One Great song

Russell Morris is one of only two vocalists that can sing this song "proper like". The other being Graham Bonnet. I can not understand why this incomparable singer wasn't given the accolades he well deserved.

I very much like Peter Robinson's guitar playing - looked him up and was surprised to see him playing a meaty sounding Les Paul in a band called Electric Mary. Very different to this but seemingly great band reviews from their Euro tours - and have supported visiting artist here for 20 years
