Good evening. I have children starting at Downside soon. I’m aware that you’ve moved, and I live closer to your new dwelling! I would very much like to talk to a member of your community. Would that be possible? Thanks in advance.

May I also query why does Mr Hugh Walters claim that St John's Gospel is thecrichest and most symbolic of Christian Faith? Again jusyt curious.

The Traditional Divine Office is actually Benedictine which no monasteries in England say. The Brevarium Romanum is a brief version in Latin and has 150 psalms in one week. After Vatican 2 the Benedictines each chose their own shorter version whereas they all used to pray the same Benedictine Office. The Liturgy of the Hours misses 3 psalms out and doesn't cover all 150 psalms in one week.

Thank you for a fascinating talk. It makes me wonder about possible "diplomatic" and other links between Downside in general, and Abbot Ford in particular, and the interned German monks of Erdington Abbey. We know that DD John Chapman and Bede Camm transferred to DOwnside and that after the war their released German confrères went to Weingarten. (Perhaps Downside prefers to forget that Erdington and Ramsgate were actually raised to abbatial status before Downside and Ampleforth)

Father Boniface. The one outstanding priest at Downside. Even my short time at the school Father Boniface was very kind.

It’s amazing how all spirituality, whether religious or not, runs along the same principles, those of a loving Higher Power, the necessity of healing & loving ourselves & others, compassion, joy, & bringing in our team of spiritual beings, angels & saints & the Divine Mother to protect & help us. There are indeed forces of evil who oppose the Light & it doesn’t matter what words we use to explain all this, it is all the same. We are loving God, trusting Him & trying to do His will. Thank you for a lovely healing service. I missed it yesterday but watched on Sunday afternoon.
