Who are the orchestra pit members in the show wicked
@JC_LozanoGTR Жыл бұрын
Omg!! I’ll try to remember the must I can. CONDUCTOR - Isaac Saúl - Bass - Dante Pimentel - Drums - Julio Morán - Guitar - JC Lozano (me) - Perc - Oscar Peralta - keyboard 1 - Fabian Espinoza - key 2 - Jorge Vidales - key 3 - Gerardo Ruiz - key 4 - Carlos Ramírez - trumpet - John Urness - flutes - Alejandro Vazquez - Horn - Horacio Huertas - Clarinet - DON’T REMEMBER I’m missing some other instruments and players names , for sure! Used to be around 15 orchestra members. With some alternate musicians and substitutes. But must of those names can be heard on this video. Thanks for your comment! 🙌🏼

I never would have guessed some of those parts were done using an E-Bow. I always thought they were picked with glissandi up and down the fretboard.

7:28 Fun fact: The "I hope you're happy" part is played 3 times since Glinda originally sang that bit 3 times. They cut it down to 1 "I hope you're happy" during the 2003 try-out in San Francisco but left the orchestration parts in. Reason for why they cut it was that it all sounded too much together (Elphaba singing Bring Me Down, the ozians singing their part and Glinda coming through with the IHYHs). The notes the guitarist plays there are almost identical to the notes Glinda would've sung the other 2 IHYHs

@JC_LozanoGTR6 жыл бұрын
