How beautiful. My sister recently had a stroke and is in a rehabilitation facility. I visit often, and the number of people who are there alone saddens me. I brought candy on Halloween and wheeled my sister from room to room to do a reverse trick or treat. So glad I saw this before Christmas. This was a great reminder! ❤

In my town a woman, widow since few months, renounced to do Christmas tree. But another woman wrote in some social: "I miss that tree near a window; I saw it every year, when going to work early in the morning, and its vision brightened my day". Several people wrote the same thing, so the widow (of an estimated hospital doctor) did the tree, with the help of two friends. I, tho, am delighted to spend the day alone. I'll be having my own celebration, doing things I want to do, throughout the coming year. That has become my own tradition since ridding my life of the hateful people (my mother, the ex) whose lives were so miserable that the only joy they found was in hurting me. I'm 48 this year, and I find joy in small things now, and I'm filling my own stocking with oranges and scented soaps and bracelets. I'll be driving through neighborhoods that are to lit up that you'll see them from space, and spending the evening at a church musical production, and eating Chinese take-out! Thank you, Lumino Lab, for making me feel even worse than I already was! I'm 70. I shall be spending my 14th Christmas alone. After I had got through my first, I thought that it would get easier. It doesn't. Due to my autism, I struggle with social activities. I have only one friend and he has to work over Christmas and New Year. As usual, I shall spend the day alone. Poor health keeps me at home. At least I have my cat and my dog for company. I no longer like Christmas.

My biggest fear is being alone, so the fact that one day, my parents or my brothers or my husband be gone scares the freak out of me. To those who are alone this Christmas, my heart is with you. My love is with you and my prayers are with you. Happy holidays from the deepest depths of my heart.

My mother taught me when you feel bad find someone who is worse off and help them, and you will feel better. She took us to nursing homes, hospitals, Christmas, caroling to the homes of those who were shut in and we did feel better.

I am just about 73 and I have no children, I lost my Wife just before Christmas 14 years ago. These days I go on a cruise the week she died, just to meet live human beings. It does bring about a bit of sadness when my fellow elderly passengers conversations revolve around their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The old man in this video seems to be indulging in sadness, I know it is awful, but that's not the way to be, it just makes things worse. Just be grateful for the times you had together

That is all you need to do, no good works can give you salvation, the truth is after you understand please! repent. What is repentance? repentance means to turn away or to change your mind. Then accept with all your heart Jesus is Lord, He is the Only way, The only Truth, The only Life (John 14:6) says, and believed. This was heartwarming, but also sad. I heard a similar story of a young man who had a wife & young kids. His young son always wated a dog, but him & his wife said no. The man was diagnosed with cancer & passed a year later. On the boy's bday, there was a knock at the door, a delivery of a puppy. Everyone wondered who sent it until the card was read. It was a gift & letter written by the dad, instructed to be delivered on the boy's bday after he had passed.
