So much unnecessary work. You don’t have to remove the entire mechanism to replace the actuator.

I too had a broken wire. My question is, was your bellows missing or did you just cut it off to inspect the wiring? If you cut it off, how did you put it back on I tried going in the car to unplug the two electrical connectors but it’s hidden way up behind a module with a crap ton of wiring with butt connectors on it.

I did not cut the bellows off. I pushed it inside the door as I could reach into the door to push it back out afterwards.

This video made me feel so much better! I fought with mine for two days straight, tackling my first window regulator. All the fuses and switches were good. Damn thing still did not want to roll back up only down! I know what to check now!!
