Is this a vinyl rip? Very good sounding capture if so.

Thank you! The transfer was done with an unplayed copy of the LP using the RIAA phono inputs on a TASCAM M-164UF (16-channel mixer with effects and USB 2.0) and OK Technics turntable and Grado needle - nothing fancy, but nice results! I had almost a million views of my upload of the first Lucifer's Friend album before it was pulled from circulation on a copyright claim, recorded with the same system with a much-used but well-cared for LP from Back In The Day! thanks, Annette

BN is amazing, a musical savant, in my opinion. I do terrible, awful things with an EBow, the worst possible things, because of him !

Is it me or does it sound like some backmasked vocals during the chorus?

A work of genius no matter the title ( I thought I'd found a Bill Nelson album I'd never heard) well, for a bit 😂

I heard Bill using an E-bow while sitting outside of the Celebrity Theater in Phx., Az in 77'(?). I had bought the ticket for BBD, he was doing a sound check. I sat down on the steps and was in dreamland for about 10 minutes. HE WENT OFF!! The show was extremely well done. that night.

Killer stuff! I started getting more into electronica, and found Tubeway Army pretty impressive… interesting New Wave music. - "The Dream Police" - kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6nWm52Mfd5nm9U

I'm not familiar with this album though I do recognize one song, must be on another album of his. This album is odd and pretty funky. It sounded like Bowie and Prince in places, but also something else. I looked up who played on it and saw that Dick Morrisey played sax and that clicked this thought into my head. This album came out a few years after Numan's Warriors album. I wonder if Nelson used ideas that Numan rejected. Just a thought.

I don't know whether Bill and Gary ever had any kind of relationship, working or otherwise inspirational… Bill is such an odd duck, like the ultimate quirky artschool genius taking off from Jean Cocteau and landing on another place… A-#1 guitar genius in my book. "Ethereal." - thanks! - Rosie-Anne

Bill played on and produced an album for GN, but in his wisdom, GN remixed the whole thing. Bill was slightly miffed by this, so had his name removed from all the end product.

@@robbiedominic2558 From what I can gather, they didn't get along very well; apparently Gary was more interested in when he could buy a new plane than making music:S

First got turned on too LF by a friend. We were up in his room smoking weed and his brother was jamming the lowest level of the house with this. Little did we know he was smoking also. I was in 5th grade. 1979.

Thank you so much for uploading this material. This is not in Spotify, even i don't know if this have been rereleased in compact disc . So, I'm listening this record thanks to you. Spotify has good things and things that are a complete shit, like the fucking second between songs. You can't listen to a live album there. I don't understand this business but thanks, and greets from Argentina.
