It took me like 12 years, but I finally beat it while home from college one summer around 2002 or so. I used to watch my older brother play it when I was a kid. I don’t think he ever beat it though.

When I hear this song it's just so fitting. But a majority of this soundtrack is amazing given the technology available in the late 80s. Makes me want to go play Ninja Gaiden GB right now lol

A designated 'classic', yes. But I don't think this game gets the proper credit it deserves for how ridiculously groundbreaking and innovative it was for its time. Literally game changing, and it blew my 9 year old mind when it dropped in '89. Forever grateful to all the developers, writers, artists, and musicians involved in making this masterpiece.

He may sound easy, but one wrong move=INSTANT DEATH. Technically it takes 3HP, which if you're playing normal settings that's the case but I play with more HP and Lives so it's not fatal with Full HP in my case. (4HP and 3 Lives is my favourite settings. No OHKOs and stuff to worry!) You can set up to 5HP per Life and 4 Lives per credit.
