Starting with the Unicorn shows in Boston and at Club 47 in Cambridge, I never missed a Butterfield Blues Band show if it was humanly possible to attend. The day I put on side 1 of the BBB first album and heard the first notes of Born in Chicago, my genuine musical life began. Very moved by this biography, Heartfelt thanks to the producers, directors and all those who bore witness to the singular genius of a musician whose equal will never come again.

I enjoyed the movie and have done my best to share it when it was on Amazon Prime. I’ll share it again now that it is here. The subject matter is still perplexing and so I have been seeking comment from musicians about it and what the current scene is. Thank you for making this movie!

What can I say? Jimmy touched me and my friends very deeply as well. I even raised both of my children as parakeets. But, what I really wanted to say is how lucky I feel to be seeing Mac perform on September 1st in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Who would have guessed? Beaver Dam? On the 1st anniversary of losing Jimmy and its 30 miles away.

I'm 53 and I've always loved Shinedown! They put out songs about what regular people go through and feel. They expose the human condition and try to help whoever needs it (it's been me a lot). They are truly a special band. JJ -South Alabama

Paul passed away when I was in my early 20’s and I was much more focused on classic rock and heavy metal back then,my love for the blues didn’t really start for about another 10 years but now,I’d so much rather listen to the blues any day over the vast majority of the crap they call music now, this was such a great documentary that taught me stuff that I didn’t know about one of my favorite blues musicians of all time

Too much male gaze and no consistant story, but the sound is good. Album videos like that should be way more common

This gives me goosebumps. I love that they're releasing each song on its own to make people more aware of this work of art. I agree with everyone, they should do this with Planet Zero. I'd love to see how much they've grown as artists.

Even growing up in small town in west central Nebraska, I became a big Paul Butterfield fan from day 1. I have most of his albums and my favorite is "Live at the Troubabour" recorded in L.A. in April, 1970. Driftin' and Driftin' is pretty hard to top I believe. I was hoping the documentary would show some of that night, but that's okay, I enjoyed the film. Thank you.

I wonder if Chuck's aware of what the globalists are doing for 'climate change'. Like cutting down 16 million trees in Scotland. Don't believe it? Ask Bill Gates ... God bless you, Chuck...

To me his playing is the perfect combo of gospel and Vince Guaraldi. Such an amazing voice on an instrument. I’m still shocked of how much music he played on that I was not aware of. Legend
