The atmosphere, that thing Luke has where it's kind of upbeat yet mysterious. 10/10 tune.

The melody that's fileted in the background. I wondered if it's sampled... if so, what is it. It has this abstract jazz rock style

Such an odd feeling with this, I had a compilation album playing as I joined a caravan of people walking from London city westwards towards transport connections on the day of London bombings, 7/7/2005, tubes closed, all taxis booked up so people just walking. Such an eerie feeling even now (in 2023). Peace to all affected by those filthy bastards.

0:29 pretty sure this is a sample from the beginning of buddy by de la soul. either that or they both got it from somewhere else but it sure does sound like posdnuos.

I love this track, but it has a sense of sadness and a very eerie feel as it takes me back to 7/7/2005 in London, when some dung-stinking, piss-stained cowards launched bombs on the transport network. A vast horde of people walked East to West or vice-versa to get to destinations after work, and I listened to music and BBC news during my trek.

is it still like that ? London, I mean... I wish to visit one day, hopefully someone will point me to the right clubs

@@end-quote There have been several more cowardly Islamist terror attacks since, the last one a few years ago when a concert was bombed by some dog-fucking sewage bather. London is like many big cities, it's fantastic in many ways but an absolute toilet in other ways. I do love being here, but its problems are getting worse plus our history and culture being destroyed year by year, depressing.

@@end-quote There have been several acts of terrorism since then, the worst being an attack on a concert in Manchester by filthy Islamist cowards who will go to hell. London is what it is, like most cities, stay in the busy areas, keep a lookout, use your mobile phone cautiously with awareness of surroundings. The UK is falling apart, our governments don't care at all about their people, crime is out of control and everything is corrupt. However, there are still some good points such as pubs.

@Hologhoul very sorry to hear that brother, looks like you've been safe all this time, that's good. I will watch out for that when I eventually tour London

@@end-quote Thank you, friend. I hope you'll have a great time here and I'm sure you will. There are issues in most big cities, I just get depressed at seeing how our authorities have been destroying this country and my city for many years now.

I would love it if Luke made another WC album with a focus on the atmospheric, mysterious and sometimes spooky feel of his early material. This is a magical album.
