How to find the balance? Well, allow AI models that don't threaten the continued existence of humanity. It's not that complicated. Don't build something that is far smarter than humans.

Thank but no longer ChatGPT can write letters for us because idiotic lawyers got scared that it would do a better job then them therefore no longer your types of promts work. Instead chatgpt tells us to get in touch with a lawyer and ruin ourselves paying for their damn fees! what a freaking capitalist world we live in!

That prompting is really poor. 'Write me a blog post'. What is that supposed to accomplish. All you are going to get is a very weak outline of reworded content from a compilation of existing information - i.e someone elses blog posts. Put that on a website and Google wont even bother to index it. prompt engineering to generate good content is a skill in itself. I think you should have done a lot more research into Chat GPT before posting this as it gives a false impression to people who have no understanding.

Thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate you joining the discussion. I accept this constructive criticism. Our understanding of ChatGPT and other LLM’s has progressed such a lot since I recorded this tutorial in February 23. I’m not sure “Prompt architecture” was a thing then but as you say it definitely is now and a more sophisticated strategy will definitely lead to better results. I am back in the studio on 19th September recording an updated (and I hope more advanced) tutorial. What your view on the areas I need to be tackling? Has anyone else got views? I’ll make sure that the tutorial delivers best possible value to you folks 👍

Diversity has never been something positive. You cannot get a diverse workplace without lowering your standards. And in the end of the day people who have more in common are gonna get along better, and create a friendlier environment. Reading this might trigger you, but it’s the plain and uncensored truth.

It will be difficult to predict the outcome of a trial without the process documents and evidence. At this stage this tool is as clever as its prompts. Asking the right questions should be akin to good lawyering.

GPT-4 is quite remarkable at legal research. It knows the case law and statutes. You can even type in the facts of the case and it will provide an opinion citing cases and statutes. Only a qualified lawyer will know the quality of its output.

thanks for the video it was helpful. Just adding to comment below - Chat GBT doesn't reach into internet, it reached into a kind of database which was uploaded to it and it is therefore not contemporaneous as only has information up to Sept 2021

Hi Thanks for the feedback and very pleased the tutorial was useful. That’s a very interesting point on Chat GPT and the internet. Did you catch their CEO (Sam Altma) on Lex Friendman’s podcast a couple of weeks ago? My impression is that - amongst many other content resources - a number of internet platforms do play a part in Chat GPT’s learning. Take a listen and let me know if you agree.

Would like to know how to get past the word limits. In writing pleadings I'm like this woman as well non lawyer. Seems like the BAR association already has its hands in this. Creating a disadvantage to those who have a right to present their own case. I have a few drafts but it won't allow for all the details in one shot. Would one use a pdf maybe of it? Would love best ways to approach and prompts. To continue to add facts in sections. (Word limits) And then have it complete the final draft. So far no go. It starts over. Even giving instructions before and after. Great video though! Really appreciate.

It seems that this video is based on some wrong assumptions about how generative AI works. ChatGPT is not "reaching into the internet". The way LLMs and generative AI works is by predicting the next word based on the data the LLM was fed. Basically, every output is guessed (a highly sophisticated guess) and any correlation to facts is purely coincidental. The better the model, the higher the likelihood of facts and AI output correlating.
