Thanks for the video! Can you share what end cap material you chose? POM or aluminum? I have a Western Aigrun Sidewinder Compact and an AEA challenger Pro, both are bare barrel without any shroud, do you think I should get the high flow core?
@BTOMF3 күн бұрын
Sounds like you might, but I would try and use the flow factor calculator to make sure. Defaulting to the high flow isn't always the quietest. With all that being said, I bet high flow is what you'll need.

The same Sarissa design in their Accipiter line should drop the POI a lot less since its much lighter than the standard Sarissa.

I just checked but they don't make a high flow core version for the Accipiter...sigh...Both my airguns are bare barrel without shrouds, I guess I have to go with the High instead Moderate...

@BTOMF2 ай бұрын
Fast twist rate and more freebore to accomodate heavier bullets. Right when I was being it barreled, the 22 Creedmoor got SAAMI approved haha. As far as hearing safe, it's pretty damn quiet. I don't ever shoot without earpro anymore, but it's quiet enough to with that Magnus on the end of it.

I have a falx and a sarissa. Both are phenomenal. Impact mkii .25 80ft/lbs - 78db with Sarissa - 82db with the Falx. I’m curious how a Fox 600 over barrel would sound and work. I competed for the first time this year with the Sarissa. Shot a 220. It’s legit.
@georgesmith46393 күн бұрын
A 3db difference is the smallest difference that can be heard by most people, so the 4 db diff. between the Falx and Sarissa seems like it would be hardly noticeable. Perhaps not worth the 3.5" extra length and weight.

I used my iPhone to measure the Sarissa, 78db with an impact mkii 80ft/lbs. The iPhone app is more accurate and consistent than you would think. The Hill EC-1000 compressor manual states 85db at 3ft and that’s exactly what my iphone app measures. It’s so much quieter than the DonnyFL Sumo. Even the Falx is and the Falx is shorter than the Sumo.

What’s better as a handheld scanner to go with my NVGs? The Nox18 or the Nox35? Was thinking the 2x optical base mag might be nice…
@BTOMF5 ай бұрын
Depends on your use case. For me, Nox35 is better bc of the distance I see. Nox18 gives a wider field of view if that's important to you.

@BTOMF7 ай бұрын
I asked N-Vision about this when I first got it. They said they receive different display colors, some are blueish and some are yellowish. The video is about as close as you get to my display hue. With that being said, some people's eyes can't see any hue. When I asked around, at first I thought I had weird eyes based on everyone saying they couldn't see any hue.

The 4 2 10 name was coined by Pitmaster X. Pitmaster X made a video of the cook because he was so impressed with this particular cooking method. But the strategy was developed by Steve Gow at Smoke Trails BBQ, and he didn't call it 4 2 10. And for the record, I don't like the name 4 2 10 because it's not really 4 2 10. The timing is dependent on the size of the brisket and some other things. You have to follow the procedure outlined by Steve Gow. It does work because I have done it half a dozen times and it's basically foolproof - provided you follow Steve Gow's strategy.

Bet money you replaced them bulbs in your tail lights shortly after this video lol. Also you need the special 6.5 creedmoor aka magnum bolt and firing pin for that rifle . The 6.5 has a higher case pressure and blows the primers back into the f.p that bends your f.p retainer and causes light strikes. Look at your primers that are going off.
