Of course it's gonna hook when your converter is so loose its practically like riding the clutch in a 4 speed car. Just curious what your 60 foot time is though?

60 foot time was 1.6 I've had it to the track once but am going back once I'm finished with an add on😅😅 The converter is a 2800

@@Micheal-t6s Nice, that's a sharp 60 foot time. I'm close behind you with my 400 dollar junkyard block and stock converter. The 60 foot on my last few time slips were 1.8s and I've made a few improvements since then and I'm looking forward to seeing what it'll do now with better tires, a custom metering block, a fancy tapered spacer and some pinion shims. At first I bought a 3000 RPM converter for the build but it was bad and wouldn't move at all so I went back with the stock converter to get the car on the road and it ran pretty good.

@@Impactjunky yeah I bought a 3000 stall from S.R. and it was bad. They replaced it so I went 2800. Waiting for the 250 shot of Noz 😂 😂

Thanks dude. It moves. Just ordered a 300 shot Noz kit. Don't think I really need it but what the heck, I'm gonna try it. The engine is built for Noz so the 300 shot won't hurt. Might only spray 150 or 200 just to start out easy and see where the comfort spot is. 😂 😂

Yes, hooks GREAT on the track but still wants to spin a little on street surface. I've got M.T. Drag Radials on it. Track is SO much better 😅

Yes I worded it wrong. The tires are MT SS Drag Radials. BUT, they are smooth now with no tread line showing 😂😂

Not slicks….. the tires are drag radials. Either way still a very nice running car. I actually prefer drag radials over slicks myself.

Thank you. On the track it HOOKS. Much sticker surface. Get about a 20oz. bottle of daylight under front wheels at track. It's a blast BUT $$$$$$$$$😊

Yeah, soon as I get it back together. Got about 4000 miles on the engine build and the intake gasket started seeping. Taken NO chances on a $23,000 engine!!

@@infamousnova YES indeed. With it all said and done, I'm just shy of $40,000 in the car. Bumper cover to bumper cover, under, in, out, ect.. is new. Got maybe 1000 miles on the car itself, $7000 in the trans, and the clock only has 73,000 original miles. IT IS CLEAN.

They're Micky Thompson SS Street slicks. Just enough tread look to be street legal. Yup, it's fast. Runs the quarter mile in 10.32 seconds
