Is he well settled, after the initial nerves and worrying he’d be the smallest? It’s such a big step isn’t it. My Grandson Archie He’s only 7 , but he’s small for his age. He also has some learning development delay. He’s starting a new primary school on 10th Feb due to moving house and we’re very much hoping he’ll settle well and quickly. Xxx

A tip I give my students: read as if you're reading it to a young child. This will add the expression you need. Take a moment or two every now and then. This gives the listener a moment or two to completely catch-up and take-in what they've heard. Mostly, just relax and enjoy the process. Take a photo of your car with a couple of 'markers' in view before you rush off.
