Honestly, I agree. Characters were mostly one-dimensional, with only a few actually having character development. No death in the quest felt impactful, and instead of actually showing what the loss of thousands means for Natlan, they just shove the fact they died in your face every 2 seconds, just in case you forget. The finale was good, but it didn't feel neither a plot-twist (because the signs were many and there was some foreshadowing), nor a situation with a good emotional build-up (literally hours of celebration and 10 minutes of ending). It wasn't completely unplayable, but it did feel underwhelming and lackluster compared to Fontaine and Sumeru. I just think they can do so much better than whatever this was. Let's hope they don't butcher Nod Krai with dottore and Snezhnaya with the Tsaritsa (and maybe a Capitano return, I beg of you)
