You absolutely can. It's also shim-able.

I may have to try that...in our case, they would have to jump over the gate in order to do that and it would be pointless unless they didn't want to jump back over the gate.

@@TheMadDadReview the whole point to my comments is locks don't really keep people out i don't think anyone has really made a unopen able lock go watch the lockpickinglawyer..... it just makes it so they have to work a little bit harder. id guess something like 98% of people wont even try but there is always that one ashole that will and if they have background in lockpicking its only time before they open it.. and a lot of the locks out on the market will fail with a blunt forced hit..

Haha that’s a really good question - If I remember right, it’s a combination of the music switch and light switch. They may have changed it since we had it as we no longer have it anymore. Hope you figure it out!

Are you talking about the tension screws? They don’t technically screw into the side - you put them in and then twist the tensioner in order to secure it to the wall.

@MaddiesDaddy the part of the screws that is plastic that you turn to Lock in when you find where to adjust it at ..they are screwed all the way to the base so tight that i can't spin them

That is strange - when I received mine, the plastic tensioners were not even on the screw/bolt tensioner cross threads. I’d definitely send it back or contact them for replacements.

You're not dumb - have you opened up the machine to look? I no longer have it, but if I remember they were either C or D batteries.

Thanks for sharing - is your baby properly gaining weight? I’m asking because there are several people in the comments that say this machine does not distribute formula properly - we used this machine when our kids were babies and did not have a problem.

@ yes baby is gaining weight (just have a pediatrician visit today) But I do think base on the label on the back 1 scoop + 2 oz of water is different than when you press 2 oz on the machine. 2oz from the machine does looks a bit watery. We haven’t go on 3 oz yet, But other than that no issue so far.

No you should wash first and then use this to sterilize - this doesn’t wash the bottles so you’ll need to wash and rinse the bottles to begin with
