Rubber by far! I’ve had my rubber hose for over 40 years! No kinks, no leaks, no cracks. I have a Goodyear rubber hose for about 25 years and it sits in the sun every day! No breaks or leaks! I do keep water in it between uses during the hottest months to help it maintain its shape and durability. During cooler months I shut the supply off and drain it after each use. My neighbor went through three cheap flexible , vinyl hoses in one season! What a waste of money!

Hi thanks im a subscriber. Thanks for your great helpful videos. Question please : Im just starting up with no lawn mower but i have a very nice new Stihl weed eater that i cut my own grass with using long 8 foot side to side passes that i can do a whole standard size front yard in about 20-25 minutes or so. Then i rake it up and dispose of the grass. Can i temporarily only use the stihl weed eater to do peoples yards until i save up for a new honda mower ? Would i be looked down on for that or as long as i do a good job and great customer service, people will be happy ? Thanks. Anybody knowledgeable please reply soon.

I bought a Honda HRR 5 years ago and ended up giving it away. Worst piece of crap I ever owned. Had a defective carburetor right out of the box. The Honda power products dealer put a new one on it under warranty, and that one didn’t work either. Three times a charm. A year later, the self propelled transmission failed. The next season the axle bushings seized. (Honda uses a steel axle, that runs thru a steel bushing, that passes thru a steel holder.) Geez... what could go wrong?!?! Toro uses sealed ball bearings. Lastly... I had to cut my lawn twice with the Honda as it left stray grass blades sticking up with one pass (even with new or freshly sharpened blades). Most of my neighbors have Toro Personal Pace mowers (two are 20 years old) and they never have problems. I dumped my Honda for a Toro and and never looked back.

I have a 16" eight y/o Sun Joe. Works as well as day one. It came with one battery but I bought an extra for backup. I rotate each cutting. The only thing I have had to do is replace the blade and that's it. I would certainly buy again.

i want a new mower so bad but my 18 year old honda powered toro just won't die and the thing never needs any work. i just replace air filter, oil and spark plug every other year and the thing keeps going. original carb on it too!

I don't think Honda is stopping production of their lawn mowers. Here it is june of 2024 and there are still well stocked in the stores. My local john Deere dealer just got another shipment. So I think its just rumors.

I love this hose. I got mine last October. Today, I walked out, and it was leaking. We'll see how well E. Mishan & Sons, Inc. Emson, 230 Fifth Avenue, Suite 800, handles returns. The hose comes with a 5-year warranty. I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I love this hose and plan on buying three more.

How about the bottle neck ? We have a large hose diameter.. but the connector like quick tap.. have very small hole.. smaller than 1/2 inch hose hole.. is that still good idea to use 5/8 hose instead 1/2 inch hole.. even the quicl tap hole have smaller hole ?

Both of mine leaked profusely after one year of use. The fittings are total shit.

right on, I'm a petite female and the lawn seemed small enough to tackle with a string trimmer. Been doing it all year without any problems (the short battery is the only thing thats been a pain) . But my neighbour recently came out and looked at me like i was insane asking if i wanted to use his mower. made me start to doubt myself.. but.. seeing this made me feel less silly. lol I'm sticking with it!

I've had the same canopy tent for years. I only use it a few times each year. It's a slant leg canopy. For the difference in price the slant leg will work just fine for occasional use. I could buy several slant leg canopy for the same cost of buying a single much more expensive straight leg canopy. However, if I were to be using it on a regular basis I would opt for the straight leg canopy.
