Interesting . My dad recently had a fall . Has just had an operation this evening . I’m not a medical student , but this video helped me understand what happened . His sounded like the extracapsular injury as he has had a pin inserted .

Beautiful cases sorry to the patients ....lovely ...you truly a great teacher .... I always get confused when I report the cervical spine and won’t be sure which is the transverse process in different views like sag, coro and axial so you really helped me ... I wish there ES a or later cervical spine when you just go through this with no pathology ... I give you a 100 % thou you truly good.

A very informative video & I thank you. Haven't had it explained to me, so am unsure what category my hip fracture comes under (broke neck of femur) I have 3 cannulated screws but have been told will need total hip replacement down the road. Extremely grateful to the surgeons

Combined trauma, like an automobilistic accident... ex. you can have a lateral force causing a dyaphisis transverse fracture and a rotational force causing a transcervical fracture.
