They are wonderful people at Hessilhead. They take any sick or injured animals that other people wouldn't bother with. I have the utmost respect for everybody there.

The only place I trust to actually look after animals rather than put them down to save money for 'more important' things like plush offices, fancy cars, vans, and shiny new uniforms etc. We took a wee fox cub to them a few years ago, we had rescued it from a big gang of crows and magpies. It was a long drive from Edinburgh but the only option was the RSPCA who I really don't trust especially with a fox cub
