Great video. Can you link the rulebook or regulation that reflects this change, or the board decision that covers this change, because besides this video there is no other indication that the BH routine will be changing. The rulebook on the USCA website is still the previous BH routine.

the rules have already changed now the rule book can be found on the offical fci site i tried posting a link here but its not working but if you just google it it will show up. im gussing the usca just hasnt updated there website yet to the new rules

Thank you for this great video!! While I was watching this video, this tail position and tail movement came up to my mind. Because my dog(working line malinois) heels just like this. (no offence, not a criticism but i simply want to know…)He seems like he’s excited and he’s eager to do the work with the handler. But his tail is not wagging and stays low most of the time. And I’m having hard time fixing it. If you go to international level, will this heeling be judged “Excellent”? Other dogs that I train, heel perfectly with energy and happiness. But the one I chose looks excited in his face and he’s really willing to heel with me happily but his tail doesnt go up wagging. Can this be a genetic problem or should i build more drive? I really respect your work and I had to ask this question. Do you think competition judges will allow this without deduction?

The explanation I was given is because the sport started losing a lot of people because of the routines being difficult for the new people wanting to do the sport. They made it easier for the BH to encourage people to stay in the sport. Most people aren't competing for Nationals. Remember this is about money for the organization. The less people competing the less money for the organization to finance their obligations.

at 39 seconds, when the handler halts, they should NOT take off the lead it should be kept on, and should also do the group with the leash on then the lead should be removed before the start of the positions

I think there is a mistake. The handler shouldn't take off the leash before entering the group. I just checked the latest the rolebook.

Lazy ignorant trainer using pain and discomfort to teach something that does not need to be Like this Obviously lacks the skill set to train this sequence without. And he gets pleasure out of causing pain, which is also reenforcement for this trainer
