Sorry I just wanted to confirm, once you connect the fire stick to the HDMI port of the TV, do we also need it connected into a power supply (say from the power point) everytime we use the fire stick?

@@yoching Yes you need to connect it to power supply. What I did in my case is power it from the USB port on the TV itself.

sometimes usb ports on TV may not provide enough power to the FireTv stick but in my case it worked and it’s working since I posted this video.

Check the file format: The logo must be in a PNG or JPEG format. Check the resolution: The recommended resolution for the background image is 1280x720 px. Check the public path: After uploading the logo, the public path to the image will appear. Check the dropdown menu: Use the dropdown menu to assign the graphic's position in the corners of the player and a link. Still issues? You can also try updating the Restreamer: Stop and remove the running Restreamer: docker stop restreamer && docker rm restreamer Download the new image Start the Restreamer again Hope it helps.

I followed all instructions to a T. Unfortunately, when I open Speedify on my Raspberry 4B using a Raspberry Pi 7 " monitor, the window that opens is unreadable. I wish I could post the pic. Suggestions?

Thank you for the video. Some suggestions: 1. Use the latest version of the OS, so you'll get all the security updates and but fixes 2. Instead of using omx, use vlc to connect to the nginx rtmp stream. That way you can keep your pi headless.

I am looking for a more stable connection to my Pixellot camera for recording/streaming hockey games (Ice rinks suck for mobile wifi being concrete buildings). This is a very well-done video, and I appreciate the content. I currently use a Nighthawk M6 via ethernet but lose many streams due to inconsistent signal. It has been a year or so since you did this. Is there anything you would update?

I am using it without OBS. My video source is the rtsp url from my webcam. I am publishing 24/7 on youtube from the onside of a bird nesting box. It starts good but since 2 days the stream is very choppy. Any ideas where to tweak?

Start with troubleshooting network. If that’s fine try restarting the stream.

@@gadgetspod Thank you for your answer. Suddenly in YT occured a useful error message. Sth like "you need 4 key frames in your streaming software". So I changed the key frame option in Restreamer from auto to 4 and since then the stream is stable. First I thought the processor of my Raspi is overheating and then throtteling because we had some very hot days and it is only passively cooled but the keyframe change did it.

Hi Awesome video. Question, What kind of HDMI image do you get? I just need to convert the RTMP feed into HDMI, to feed into an encoder. Is that video usable? or would another program like dicaffeine be better?

Thanks! The video quality is quite good. This is an encoder in itself, why you need to encode video feed separately? You can stream your content to any platform from this setup.

Yes you can choose the region closer to you. You can also set it to the fastest server. But if you choose fastest server it will give you optimal output by identifying automatically the data from and to location.

Do you have any advice for the custom OS option? I have been trying lineage-21.0-20240216-UNOFFICIAL-KonstaKANG-rpi5-ota.zip and several other android builds. Many videos say to just select the zip file (I have tried Imager and Etcher) and flash it. This seems to work fine for youtube creators, but I end up with an SD card that has the files in the root directory of zip. If I extract the zip and flash the boot.ini then my SD card looks like videos (8 files & overlays directory) but it is only 45 MB (the zip is 650 MB) and doesn't even produce the rainbow screen. Am I missing something in the flash utilities? is there a way to manually copy files to SD card?

@@gadgetspod i got a version to work. I think it worked the 1st time w the file I used but I kinda lost track of what I was flashing after many times. I had mostly been trying -ota versions, but it was the non ota android 14 by kangiskahn (ok, I'm writing this on phone from memory) that worked.
