I would be skeptical of anything that came out of Presley's mouth - 20 million I highly doubt the man has been known to lie and falsify accomplishments

In my highschool I had a choice between algebra 2 and financial math.. everyone goes to algebra 2 because it was just the norm and if that class was too hard for you, you were placed in financial math.. so basically it was always frowned upon. Well I moved down to financial math and it was honestly the best choice I've made.. It's a shame that it isn't a requirement.

Rich Dad Poor Dad should be mandatory reading in High School. Instead we tell them to read things that do not educate them Things that divert their attention and abilities from skills you must have as an adult if you want to truly succeed and be productive.

I have to agree with you on that. When i was in 6th grade, I asked my teacher "how do people afford luxury cars", her reply was "oh, they studied hard in school". Now i am in the working world and i have to say that is crap. Financial literacy is more important than just blindly "studying hard".

goldsilverandiamonds Hey there. Yes its so damn true. Honestly, at times i really feel misled. Since elementary grade, I was forced to study hard and produce at least a B grade. In fact, my teachers even used to say that if you can't score good grades, you will end up struggling for money. Now when i think about that, it makes me really mad. I scored straight As in school but today I am barely surviving by working in some company as an engineer. To make things worse, the thought of being retrenched also haunts me. Today, I will still argue that schools force us to learn a lot of irrelevant theories which we end up not applying. In the future, I will make sure my kids are financially literate instead of blindly memorizing formulas and theories in school. Cheers.

goldsilverandiamonds Thanks for the encouragement and you are right about schools. They simply train students to become obedient employees. Although I have a tertiary education, I am just upset for the reality is very different from what I was told when young. My parents used to tell me how getting a degree will enable me to make "lots of money", which is far from the truth. Like what you mentioned, the wealthy guys are business owners, investor's, or inventor's/creators and seldom employees. Well I am an aircraft engineer and this is my first job out of college. What about you?

When a man that has made over $20 million shows up in your town to tell you how he did it you'd better show up and listen to what he's got to say.

One question I would like to ask Robert is this: I know you take your profit, and invest it into more real estate, or businesses, or whatever asset u can find profitable. But at what point do u start keeping some of the profit for your luxuries? I realize the name of the game is to develop assets and invest so your taxed less. But at what point do u start enjoying your money?
@justinmckibben453410 жыл бұрын
He enjoys it on a daily basis from the money he has flowing in. The businesses and real estate are just a form of parking money instead of letting the government take it from you. Don't think he spends/invests every penny he makes, but rather just enough.

Around the 20 minute mark, when he talks about the entitlement mentality, I just had to nod. Entitlement takes a lot away from everyone, and business owners realize that. A lot of people don't consider that when business owners ask for slack, they're not asking for any passes; they're asking for help so they can keep their businesses afloat and contribute to the economy in ways they love.
