Great Signs, but how do you hang them.

I also have a 1980s wardrobe with a white shiny finish! I am a total beginner so definitely needing some advice. Surely with such big areas to cover you have to be careful what pattern you choose. Would I be right in saying steer away from small patterns. With a shiny finish would it require sanding plus chalk based paint painted over surface. Depending on colour of pattern would I need to paint a base shade on first! Any advice I would appreciate it. Never done decopatch before. I have a small cat that I’m starting on. Due to not being financially able to replace my dated furniture I guess this would be more affordable using this method Thank u

Very good advice. Just had exactly that problem when a buyer slapped an item not as described return when I’d stated there were no cracks meaning that the item wasn’t broken, but there was some crazing ing the glaze. How frustrating!

It's a clumsy copy of a Louis XV style bed.No rocaille. Made of walnut and walnut veneer about 30 years ago. Some ignorant mounted the strips upside down. Massacre.

Someone added a more modern autochanger to this the original I guess would have been a 78rpm only deck

Hey thanks mate, that was funny. I like how that piece uses the round over to hide the hinge and give a decorative edge when the sides are down.

I have just rendered three enormous, virtually immovable, Victorian drawers into perfect sliders. Grateful Thanks.

So much easier to just paint antiques white and sell it to yuppie hipsters huh? You guys have destroyed this piece. Why not just restore the original mahogany? Too much work for you right? What a shame; could have been a beautiful piece.

Do not trust this business to stick to any agreements or contracts they enter. They take guidance from philosophy rather than laws of trade and business. I made an offer to purchase, Chris Harris(the business owner) agreed. I confirmed and paid. Suddenly there is a change of heart, maybe they could sell for more to someone else, but so far Chris did not man-up and stick to his word.
