Was fun to watch and listen to the commentary as usual. Right now only Nina and Lin have the fireside dialogue as I wanted to see if people wanted me to do every character like that. I tried to design the game to allow you to get characters earlier (out of story order or not at all) and story events still happen even if they are not in your first 4 slots (experience is also given to the entire party at 100% rate).

Good commentary and bug finding as always. It really puts the battles difficulty in perspective with dragon build Ryu because most people I've seen play Ryu as a hunter. Btw Rand only rolls on the roads now and doesn't spin out if you run into something (no more random battle like the original). I appreciate you playing!

Absolutely love your commentary; it had me chuckling a few times especially with how overly dramatic Argus was. I appreciate you playing through the bugs, and trying different things out. It really does help me see what I need to fix. I am reworking the tooltips to be clearer in the next patch.

As always, I appreciate you playing and giving such good feedback and commentary. You actually utilizing the elemental weaknesses in battle gives me a place to start in balancing. Also the villagers pull from a random dialogue from a list, but seems like it isn't pulling from the entire list correctly (I will need to look into that).

The bounties in Monstadt and Liyue are pretty obnoxious with finding the three clues first. In Inazuma, Sumeru and Fontaine the enemy is just there in the area, much more reasonable.

In every Story Quest during a domain run, the character becomes available for a demo run for players to try out incase they don't have the said character available in their party (but since it's Amber you're always gonna get her at the start of the game) and there are certain obstacles that sometimes require to get pass with the said character.

The three best characters are dehya qiqi and chiori

There are objectively stronger characters. You can play with anyone but he is very strong. Funny enough so is the girl with the raven, Fischl, even though she is an older character.

Completely know what you mean about initially avoiding this game because of the waifu element, I was very much the same way. It's very much not my scene at all, but if you can set that to one side then GOD DAMN this is a good game. The story is great, the combat is great, the exploration is absolutely 1st class, and the character/team building is so up my street. If you'd told me a couple years ago I'd have put this many hours into this kind of an anime styled game I'd never have believed you, but I am 100% hooked.

As a long time FF veteran, going to recommend you move the Red Mage into the second slot. Much much later your black belt can go in there but because your Red Mage can use chainmail at the moment he will absorb damage much better than the black belt and it'll save you long-term On Healing

My party was Dark Knight, Red Mage, Geomancer, and White Mage. Been loving the game.

The Rifts will appear in dungeons, and your next one is in Garlands Castle. I'm only specifically mentioning that because it's one that some people miss. Also, red mage becomes Crazy after Job Change.

Hey, Acerodon: If you keep this group, d.k./ r.m./ monk/ ev. need love that you didn't show. 1) dk: Use drain on non-(undead/mechanical) foes, negatives on weapons are bad, spells are good (*dark*, hint hint) => slep/bio/dark/pain (2) 2) rm: cure/fire (best dps)/ lit (muck,shark,wizard boss fight). Keep equipped because he is healer. Get buff spells after heals/damage spells (3) 3) monk: up to lvl 7 nunchuku (hands afterwards *masamune sw.*) and up to lvl 4 wooden armor (bracelet (chest armor, looks like a ring image) afterwards until lvl 42, late game you need to find pro-ring/ribbon) Best buffed choice you have in the group, btw. 4) ev: Use summons (2) and keep equipped. Tier: slot # Tank (1)- fighter, dk Off tank (2)- Lancer, thief (max lvl & equipped), *monk (max lvl), blue mage, red mage are hybrid dps* Dps (3)- Trainer, geomancer, black mage, *green mage, time mage, evoker are hybrid support* Support/healer (4)- white mage, dancer, bard There are alot of synergy between them but a party *needs balance* to survive until the end.

A graceful defeat. From what I get of it, Pugilist is Lvl based. Unarmed Att is Lvl * 2 Unarmored Absorb is just their Lvl So, a weapon is better for quite a while, but punches can rock late game, meanwhile, there might be several times throughout the game that shedding the monk armor is just as good or better.

Hey, thanks for playing this, Jared also made me download it. My party is almost like yours (Got a fighter instead of your Monk), tho I don't think I'm going to play DRK again, we'll see maybe he becomes better later but so far he's... annoying. Bio's very good for long fights with 9 ennemies tho. Also for the grind-only episodes you thought of doing off-camera (I think this is what you said), may I suggest recording them anyways (without any commentary if necessary), but still uploading them as optional episodes for us to watch. Even if they last 45-60-120 minutes, it still optional, and guys like me that like watching them will still do. But it's up to you. Thanks for uploading your adventures 🙂
